Night 'n Day team member, Taz Dawson ended his Southern Traverse in style by popping the question to girlfriend Shelley Hill at the finish line. "I'm totally overwhelmed," said Shelly after she tearfully accepted with cheers from the crowd. "It was totally unexpected. Fellow support team member, Scott Dagg had been hiding the ring in his sunglasses case for the duration of the race. "There were a couple of near misses when Shelley picked up the case and I had to tell her very quickly to put it down!"

Final team, Night 'n Day, have crossed the finish line! All teams are now home safe and sound.
No More Tussock

Team Capriccio Swazi, the final team to finish the full course, have just crossed the finish line saying they "never want to see another bloody tussock in my life!" By the end of their 47 hour stint in the Lammerlaws they were just plain p**sed off. They were very happy to see the finish line and stoked to finish their first full Southern Traverse.

Lisa from Aberdeen Asset Management said to Geoff Hunt on arrival, "I hate pushing my bike." To which Hunt replied, "Well, you should bloody well learn to ride it properly!"
